Erika and Aaron | I’m Paying It Forward

I was cruising through the McDonald’s drive-thru last Tuesday and it was a really nice day. I get to the window and I got to meet Erika! Erika was saying how she hoped Saturday was going to be a beautiful day and I asked why and she said, I’m getting married!! I congratulated her and asked if she had a photographer and she said her cousin was going to take them because they put the wedding together in a month and a half! She said her dad has cancer and they needed to do it pretty quickly. I gave her my card and said I wanted to do some family pics for her for free and she acted like I was joking and I said this is what I do and I want to help. My schedule changed and I was able to shoot her wedding and not just family pics!! She and Aaron were so thankful and her dad wanted to pay me and I said just your thanks was enough!

Josh and Sarah Coleman Wedding

It’s hard to believe it’s been almost 2 years that Sarah and I met. I was covering a wedding at the Greenbrier in WV and Sarah was a server for the reception. We started talking and she was also a photographer! She was amazed I shared my info because she said the photographers that were in before me wouldn’t give her the time of day! We started chatting and she said if I sell my camera she would want to buy it, and she did!!

Fast forward 1.5 years and she needed someone to cover her wedding and I was it!! What a blast!! She got married ant The General Lewis Inn, what a Beautiful place and the owner/innkeeper Nan was so nice! The wedding and reception took place their and we got some beautiful images there as well!  Because Josh and Sarah work for the Greenbrier they wanted to go there and take some pics, they to are Beautiful!

Josh and Sarah’s Engagement

Just be nice! I remember meeting Sarah when I was shooting a wedding at The Greenbrier in WV. Sarah was a server for the event and she said she had an interest in photography and loved my camera! We talked off and on that night and I remember her saying that I wasn’t like the other photographers that were in before, she said they wouldn’t give her the time of day and basically snubbed her, I was different, I shared info and knowledge. Sarah and I kept in touch and she ended up buying my NikonD3! Now I am doing her wedding! 

Josh and Sarah came up to Canton for their engagement pics! She wanted different and we delivered!! We had such a good time shooting!! Her wedding has a 20’s theme and it’s going to be fun!
