First day without FaceBook

I have been debating pulling the plug on FaceBook for quite sometime and I decided yesterday was the day! I have to say it was such a liberating feeling. I haven’t missed it so far. I have had people message my brother wanting to know what happened to me and I told him to just say I needed a break! I want to put my energy into my business and into helping people. I have met a lot of nice people on there and some in person and I am grateful for that. I just need to be in the moment and not in the fantasy world that I believe it offers. I find myself on FB on my mobile a lot and when I am sitting with family, what am I doing, on FB! I do believe for me it was just a distraction from the real world around me. My mom needs my attention, she is such a sweetheart and I know that I would look back and regret the missed time with those that I can physically see and touch.

One of My Favorite Pics of Mom

I got home and saw mom and my cousin and neighbor out picking grape leaves. I grabbed my camera and had to get a pic of my mom with that hat on, she is so precious! This slice of time is truly one of my all time favorites!
